Born and raised in the heart of Tokyo, Japan.  She started off her career as a bench jeweler. She is a Graduate Gemologist (GIA: Gemological Institute of America), Gold Award Design Winner, designer and founder of MIMIDALE DESIGNS. She is an Internationally trained designer: the country that she was trained includes Canada, Italy, USA, and Australia. Her designs are influenced by traditional Japanese art and culture where she grew up and believes in the meanings behind everything we see.  

Designing for the beauty, uniqueness, and wearable is her motto.
