Inspired by Ume musubi(梅結び)in Mizuhiki art. Ume musubi represents a type of flower (Ume) which resembles Sakura (cherry blossom), and the Japanese considered Ume one of the most lucky symbols. Because this knot is hard to untangle it is widely used to symbolize a strong bonding, and therefore used for celebrator events such as weddings. The gemstones used in these earrings are Fluorite. Fluorite is believed to increases our concentration, self-confidence and help us in decision-making.  If you wish to learn more about Mizuhiki art we have a blog posted in our website.
